 Priming

SkinMedica TNS Essential Serum and TNS Advanced+ Serum is a dual-chamber product, which means there are two chambers within the bottle. It is also a special vacuum system, which is an effective way to help get the products all the way to the top and not have remaining product at the bottom. But because of that, it requires priming the bottle to ensure both products and chambers dispense evenly.

How to Prime TNS Advanced+ Serum

First, invert the bottle, tip it upside down and tap the top several times against the palm of your hand. We also recommend storing it upside down to make sure the product stays at the top and primed. This should prime the bottle and both chambers should be dispensing equally. Be sure to press directly in the middle of the dispenser to deliver an equal amount of each formula. Troubleshooting

If there is no product coming out or product coming out of just one of the chambers after priming, there are a few things to try. Take your forefinger and press it right over top of the two holes and pump about 10 to 15 times to remove the air from the top of the chamber. That should allow product to now come out of both sides. You can also try these steps below if you are still having difficulty.

Flip the TNS Advanced+ Serum upside down and notice the two small openings.
Take a paperclip and unravel it so there is one end about 1.5 inches long.
Insert the long end of the paperclip into either opening and push the paperclip
into the pump.
Repeat on the other side and then repeat on both sides 2-3 times and both should be dispensing evenly now.
