Aloe Vera FAQs

Aloe vera cools a mild sunburn and eases the sting. It doesn't undo the sun damage, so you still need shade and sunscreen while you heal.

You can use it daily. It works best under a moisturizer, because aloe alone doesn't seal water in.

Aloe vera calms the redness around a breakout. It won't clear acne alone, so pair it with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.

Most sensitive skin handles aloe well. Patch test first, because a small number of people are allergic to it.
